Opening of Bihari Food Counter
The Oman Chapter of Bihar Foundation successfully opened a Bihari Food Counter on 09.01.2026 at the Muscat Festival with the valued support of the Indian Embassy, Muscat.People from many countries, along with members of the Indian community, enthusiastically tasted and appreciated authentic Bihari delicacies such as Litti Chokha, Sattu, and other traditional items, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Bihar on an international platform.

Bihar Diwas 2025
Bihar Foundation organized a cultural-cum-art programme on the occasion of Bihar Diwas across 10 chapters/cities in India, with the active support of chapter members. The event featured stalls showcasing Bihar’s famous cuisine, along with its traditional arts and crafts, which were put on display and offered for sale to the visitors. The programmes were organized as per the following schedule: 22 March 2025 – Guwahati, Siliguri, Sikkim, Chandigarh 23 March 2025 – Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru 24 March 2025 – Surat

Bihar Foundation regularly organizes cultural events that showcase the rich heritage of Bihar. Lasy year, it hosted a Makar Sankranti program on 14 January 2025. at Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi, featuring folk music and traditional cuisine. In addition, souvenir hampers are distributed annually on Diwali, Holi, and during summer to prominent expatriate Biharis, complemented by regular interaction meetings with the diaspora and investors

Videsh Sampark Programme
On 20 July 2024, Bihar Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, organized the ‘Videsh Sampark’ program in Patna. The one-day event was attended by senior officials of the Government of Bihar and the Ministry of External Affairs, during which various aspects of safe migration were discussed in detail.
